Vencedores do Emmy Awards 2016

Em uma cerimônia realizada na noite do último domingo (18), no Microsoft Theater (antigo Nokia Theatre), em Los Angeles, a Academia de Artes & Ciências Televisivas dos Estados Unidos anunciou quais foram os vencedores da 68ª edição do Emmy Awards.

Sendo apresentado pelo comediante Jimmy Kimmel, a edição 2016 do Emmy tornou Game of Thrones o maior vencedor da premiação. Game of Thrones agora tem um total de 38 prêmios, superando Frasier, vencedora de 37 Emmys ao longo do período em que foi ao ar, entre 1993 e 2004. Apesar do marco atingido por Game of Thrones, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story foi a grande vencedora da noite, levando 5 prêmios em 13 indicações. Game of Thrones venceu 3 categorias, enquanto as séries Transparent e Veep ganharam dois Emmys cada.
